Tabiri Insights / Kenya
Privacy & your data
A plain-language notice for website visitors and people who email Tabiri Insights.
Prepared for review: 28 October 2026
Who to contact
Tabiri Insights is based in Nairobi, Kenya. For questions about your personal data, email hey@tabiri.io. The legal operator name and business correspondence address are awaiting confirmation in this review draft.
Information involved
Our hosting provider, Vercel, receives request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include your IP address, requested page, browser details, and request time. Log retention depends on the hosting configuration.
If you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential documents in an initial inquiry.
This website has no account registration, payment checkout, newsletter registration, advertising pixels, session replay, or visitor-facing AI chatbot.
Why we use information
We use request information to provide and secure the site and investigate technical problems. We use correspondence to respond to inquiries, discuss possible work, and manage an agreed engagement.
Depending on the activity, the legal basis may be steps you request before a contract, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest such as security and responding to correspondence. Where consent is required, we must ask separately. An inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Storage and service providers
We save your selected language and appearance on your device. These stay until you change them or clear site data. They are not advertising identifiers. Fonts and translation text are served with this website; Google Fonts and Google Translate are not loaded.
Vercel hosts the website. An email provider handles messages sent to hey@tabiri.io; its identity and retention arrangements must be confirmed before this draft is published. External links, including tabiri.blog, lead to services with their own privacy practices.
Sharing and international processing
Hosting and email providers process information to supply their services. Information may also be shared with advisers or authorities as necessary for an engagement or required by law. We do not sell inquiry information or use this site for targeted advertising.
Providers may process information outside Kenya. Before publication, the team must record the providers, processing locations, contracts, and applicable transfer safeguards. This draft does not certify that those arrangements have been verified.
Retention and security
Information should be retained only as long as needed for its purpose, an ongoing engagement, or a legal requirement. Inquiry, client-record, and provider-log retention periods must be approved and documented before publication.
Access should be limited to people who need it for their work, with appropriate safeguards. No website or email service guarantees complete security. Sending an email alone does not create a confidential advisory engagement or a secure document-sharing arrangement.
Your requests and choices
You can ask about access, correction, deletion where applicable, objecting to processing, or withdrawing consent where relied on. Records may need to be retained for legal obligations or legal claims.
Email hey@tabiri.io with the subject “Privacy request”. Describe your request and how you interacted with Tabiri. We may need proportionate information to verify it. Do not send an identity document in your first email.
You can raise concerns with Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at odpc.go.ke. You do not have to contact us first to exercise a right to complain.
Changes and separate engagements
We will update this notice when practices change. Client research, due diligence, AI implementation involving business or personal data, and confidential advisory work may require a separate notice, processing agreement and approved tools. This visitor notice does not authorise additional collection or processing.
